Emma Watson Is Really Into Hair Accessories

It's no secret that Emma Watson's red carpet style is on point—I mean, she wore pants under a backless gown to the 2014 Golden Globes. She's not playing around. What was not so obvious until recently, however, is her equally envious ability to accessorize. We noted her jewelry collection at this year's Oscars, but she's also started accessorizing her hair and, TBH, each style she tries pairs perfectly with her outfit and doesn't overwhelm at all. We bow down.
At last night's London premiere of Noah, Emma wore silver and gold jewels on the right side of her updo. They appeared to be casually thrown in, but they transform a relatively simple look to a sleek one. Hi, perfect prom 2014 hair inspiration.

At the premiere in Madrid, Emma accessorized her side-swept hair with a million visible barrettes. OK, maybe not a million, but at least, like, 10. They were scattered on the side and bottom of her head, in bronze and silver, and, again, take a fairly straightforward look to one not frequently seen on red carpets.

Emma kicked off this accessory affair at the Academy Awards which, TBH, seems like the perfect place to begin a trend. We were so impressed by her jewelry collection that we barely even noticed the two star barrettes she had tucked within her hair. Now we not only see them, but applaud them. They complement her ear cuffs and add some sparkle to her mussed hair. We thought we outgrew barrettes in, like, fourth grade, but Emma definitely has us reconsidering.
