Iris Apfel Launches Eyebobs Collaboration With 'Iris' Sunglasses

We adore Iris Apfel. Who doesn't? Not only does she have insanely incredible Advanced Style, she's witty and knows her way around the fashion block. We spoke to her when she launched her MAC makeup collection (which was all about pink pigeons and party parrots, of course), and talked about how much she loves to style herself and try new things. Well, it looks like she's at it again as she recently collaborated with Eyebobs on a sunglasses line entitled, simply, "IRIS". We love everything about this, especially that the folks at Eyebobs call themselves "designers of eyewear for the irreverent and slightly jaded."
These aren't just any glasses, either. They're reading glasses (and "sun readers") for those who need a little extra vision clarity when tearing through The Hunger Games series for the third time. Retailing for $75 - $99, they'll be available in three colors—black, red, and tortoise—both online and in retailers across the U.S., and a portion of the proceeds will go to Lighthouse International, one of Apfel's favorite charities. "Without a doubt, eyewear is an important accessory because it can change your whole look," Apfel says. "I think accessories are the most important part of a woman’s wardrobe." We couldn't agree more. What's also nice about these, other than being functional, is that they can be shared with your mom and, perhaps, even your grandma. Mother's Day IS coming up, y'know. #wink
