The Hills star Lauren Conrad proves she's quite the cover girl for November! After landing the front page of Teen Vogue, the 24-year-old also graces the November issue of Women's Health in an eight-page photo spread named 'LC's Rules of Style.' Aside from Lauren Conrad rocking her signature fun and flirty outfits (on the cover she wore a red Alice + Olivia dress), Lauren also wore three pieces she designed herself -- from her LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's line! Now that's a great way to mix high and low! Our favorite look is her Elizabeth and James little black dress paired with a violet cardigan from her Kohl's collection. What's yours?

2. CINCH IT IN

"There's no better ally for a girl than a great belt. Not only does it highlight the waist, but in this age of the voluminous top, it's the best way to tackle all that extra fabric, which can overwhelm a lot of figures."

+ Belt: Joe's ($58, JoesJeans.com)

+ Tunic: Nanushka ($175, Beyond 7)

+ Jeggings: LC Lauren Conrad ($44, Kohls.com)

+ Ring: Doyle & Doyle

+ Bracelet: Diane Cotton

"Color is one of the most appealing ways to make an outfit more interesting. If you're reluctant, start with small doses (say, shoes or a bag) and work yourself up to a brightly hued top."

+ Corset: Betsey Johnson ($248, BetseyJohnson.com)

+ Shorts: Joie ($378, Bloomingdales.com)

+ Belt: J.Crew ($32.50, JCrew.com)

4. LIVE IN YOUR LBD

"The little black dress is one of the most enduring pieces, and finding a well-fitting one is essential. No matter what style you choose, you have a lot of options. Pair it with tights, cinch it with a belt, or layer it with a cardigan or blazer."

+ Dress: Elizabeth And James ($395, Net-A-Porter.com)

+ Cardigan: LC Lauren Conrad ($50, Kohls.com)

+ Shoes: Laurence Dacade ($750, Bergdorf Goodman)

5. REQUIRE A JACKET

"A well-cut jacket is a great layering piece—plus it can make any outfit look more polished. I love a shrunken blazer with a white tee and skinny jeans for daytime, and a boyfriend blazer with a feminine minidress at night."

+ Jacket: Strenesse Blue ($560, Searle)

+ Dress: Diane Von Furstenburg ($498, DVF.com)

+ Necklace: Doyle & Doyle

+ Bracelet: Frieda & Nellie By Stacy Herzog And Sarah Reid

6. SIGNATURE CAT EYE

"[Lauren] started doing it during the first season of 'The Hills' and loved the way it elongated her eyes, so she's been wearing it ever since," says her makeup artist Amy Nadine.
