The Misfits are trying out Myke Hideous, former frontman of

Empire Hideous, as lead singer in the wake of the recent departure

of Michale Graves. A spokeswoman at their Network Entertainment publicity

firm said Graves was "not prepared to take on the responsibilities involved

with being the lead singer of a band. It was his choice to move on." The

remaining Misfits will decide at the conclusion of their European and South

American tours whether to make the change permanent.
