Gun-loving rocker Ted Nugent recently signed on to produce and

distribute Ted Nugent Gonzo Meat Biltong, a beef-jerky product currently

available in Original Beef, Barbecue Beef and The Flamethrower flavors.

Nugent explained his considered position: "Mankind didn't get clever 'til flesh

rounded out his omnivorous diet. Enter the next millennium of creativity and

increase the celebration of the flesh with prime-cut biltong. You can't beat my

meat." Double-D Meat Co. national sales manager and owner Bryan Fischer

raved about having the Nuge on board. "His name, when it comes to

outdoorsmen and potential clients of ours, carries a lot of weight. Someone

going to buy an outdoor snack, for those types of people, Ted Nugent's name

rings a bell right away. You walk into a store, you see Ted's name on it and

boom, you know you're getting quality right there."
