Nicki Minaj And Drake's Voices To Be Featured In 'Ice Age: Continental Drift'

By Miranda Johnson

Nicki Minaj and fellow Young Money emcee Drake are hitting the big screen together for the first time. However the twist is that the two will not appear as themselves but as two wooly mammoths in the 3D animated film "Ice Age: Continental Drift," hitting theaters July 13.

The Queens rapper’s character is a wooly mammoth named Hailey, while Drizzy also plays a mammoth, by the name of Ethan. The two emcees appear in the beginning of the film as main characters Manny, Diego, and Sid embark on an adventure after their continent is set adrift. The prehistoric film stars Jennifer Lopez, Aziz Ansari, Queen Latifah, and Ester Dean.

Aside from his first major theater release, Drizzy is also gearing up for the third annual OVO Fest, which is set for August 5 in his hometown of Toronto. He recently confirmed A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz and The Weeknd for his lineup and claims more names will be dropped in the near future. The YM rapper has managed to make the OVO Fest an annual must-see event of the year. Last year, Drake stunned the crowd by bringing Stevie Wonder out on the keyboard, along with boss Lil Wayne, Nas, Rick Ross and J. Cole.
