Lil Wayne And Drake: 'I Am Music' Tour Photo Gallery

By Erika Ramirez

Although it's only January, it’s safe to say 2011 belongs to Lil Wayne.

On Monday (January 24), the Young Money rapper and label owner announced his 2011 North American I Am Music II tour. The run, produced by Live Nation/ Haymon Ventures, will run from March 18 through April 29 and kick off in Buffalo, NY at the HSBC Arena. Check out our photo gallery of Wayne's first concert here.

Weezy has recruited some of RapFix’s favorite artists for the tour, including Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mixmaster Mike. One might ask: Where's Drake?

Weezy hit the ground running after his November release following his eight months stay at Riker’s Island. He’s guested on several songs, including Game’s track "Soo Woo" which leaked on Monday. Game’s mixtape, Purp & Patron, which includes the Weezy track, hits the web on Monday at 4:20 pm ... of course.

Elsewhere, Wayne also graced the cover of Rolling Stone’s February 2011 issue. In his first interview, the MC shared details on Tha Carter IV, tentatively slated for a March 2011 debut.

"I cannot have Chris Brown rapping on Tha Carter IV," Wayne said. "He ain’t sound bad. He’s spitting. But come on, man! Do you know how many rappers would be like, 'I can’t get on Tha Carter IV, but this n---a put Chris Brown on that bitch? Rapping?"

Let the games begin. Tickets for the I Am Music II tour will be available through LiveNation.com beginning February 4.
