GameStop EXPO 2013 Heads To Las Vegas On August 28th

GameStop EXPO 2013 is a go, this year inviting the public to get an early look at all things gaming at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Beginning Wednesday August 28th, the public will be able to go hands-on with future games and meet with top developers and special guests.

"Based on the great response we saw at our inaugural event last year, we knew we were on to something. This year at EXPO we expect to host more than 80 developers, publishers and vendors and thousands of visitors," said GameStop president Tony Bartel. "We are also expanding our exhibition floor, giving our partners more space to share their great games and consumer electronics with our enthusiastic fan base."

As expected, Sony will be at this year's GameStop EXPO in full-force, promoting the upcoming PlayStation 4 by giving anxious gamers an "in-depth look at the new console and its exciting launch lineup." Microsoft will also be there, so it may not be out of line to assume that whatever they have to show us on May 21st might be there too.

Early bird general admission for EXPO is $35, but hopeful attendees can also pay with GameStop's PowerUp Rewards points online or at GameStop stores. In addition, VIP access is also being granted to those willing to cough up $90. The extra coin will earn you early access to the show floor, a VIP lounge, a gaming tournament, panel discussions and a nifty swag bag full of gaming goodies.
