GameStop Expo 2012 Open To The Public, Black Ops 2 Multiplayer on Display!

Activision and Treyarch's highly-anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be on display at this year's GameStop Expo 2012. While we've already seen previews of the single player portion, Activision revealed the Gamestop Expo will be the first time players can get their hands on the online multiplayer component. This is also the first time consumers will be allowed to attend the expo and upwards of 50 game, device, and accessory exhibitors will be on deck.

Attendees will have a look at a bunch of upcoming games including Black Ops, God of War: Ascension, Skylanders Giants, Assassin's Creed 3, Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and many more. Alongside the likes of Activision/Blizzard, ASUS, EA, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Sony, Take-2, Turtle Beach, Ubisoft and WB Games, Nintendo will be showing off the Wii U. Considering their poor reception at E3 earlier this year, we're really hoping they have something new to show us.

The event will take place on Aug. 29, 2012 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. It is open to the public for the first time this year, but you will have to be a member of GameStop's PowerUp rewards program. Tickets cost $35 and sales to the public are limited. However, they are also offering VIP passes for $100 that offer entrance into a VIP gaming lounge, VIP lines and more.

Head over to PowerUpRewards.com for all the info on registration and the exhibitors that will be attending the show.
