See You Later, MTV

Today is my last day as a full-time reporter on MTV Multiplayer. But don’t fret: the blog will continue and be in good hands.

Even though I’m a writer, I can’t find the words to express how wonderful my experience has been working on MTV Multiplayer. During the last year and a half, I’ve had the pleasure of writing about all kinds of games, meeting with developers and publishers and working along side the best in games journalism.

In my six years at MTV, this position has been the most fun and the most rewarding. I hopped around from production to music writing; then someone found out I had a secret, unhealthy obsession with “World of Warcraft” and… well, here I am. Since then, I’ve made N’Gai Croal a hated man, turned rainbows into a topic of serious discussion, arbitrarily decided which games’ covers were good and so much more.

I would like to thank Patrick Klepek, Stephen Totilo and everyone at MTV. I would also like to thank the developers, publishers, publicists, other journalists and, most of all, our readers for their support.

And I encourage the industry and gamers to continue to support MTV Multiplayer and the new editor when the blog is back in full force. Exciting things are in the works — just you wait. Thanks for being so patient.

As for me, you can see what I’m up to on Twitter or at my website; I am continuing to work in games journalism.

Thanks again, Multiplayer followers. You’ve been good to me.

And see you at E3.
