'Die Hard 5' Casts 'Spartacus' Actor As Bruce Willis' Son

After a long search, the son of John McClane has been cast in the upcoming film "A Good Day to Die Hard." Meanwhile, Edgar Wright and Johnny Depp team up for a new movie, a new "The Lone Ranger" villain has been cast and one more joins Michael Bay's "Pain and Gain."

Bruce Willis' Son Cast In "A Good Day To Die Hard"

The son of John McClane has finally been cast, and he is someone who knows a thing or two about fighting. "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" star Jai Courtney will play the role of John "Jack" McClane, Jr, the estranged son of Bruce Willis' character in "A Good Day to Die Hard." Turns out he may be even more of a badass than his father.

Edgar Wright And Johnny Depp To Team Up For "The Night Stalker"

Well this is a match made in nerd heaven. Deadline is reporting that Disney has tapped Edgar Wright to direct their upcoming "The Night Stalker" remake. Johnny Depp is currently producing the project and is expected to star. The collaboration is still a while off, though, as the movie doesn't have a script yet.

William Fichtner To Play "The Lone Ranger" Villain

Deadline is also reporting that William Fichtner is lined up for a major role in "The Lone Ranger." He'll play villain Butch Cavendish, who Dwight Yoakam was previously rumored to play. Gore Verbinski directs "The Lone Ranger," which also stars Armie Hammer, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, James Badge Dale and Tom Wilkinson. It's due in theaters on May 31, 2013.

Anthony Mackie Could Be In For Some "Pain And Gain"

The cast of Michael Bay's "Pain and Gain" continues to get bigger and badder. Anthony Mackie is the latest actor to be in talks to join the project, according to Variety. He'll join Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson as the third lead in the low-budget drama, a "big-hearted bodybuilder" who works out with Wahlberg's character.
