Young Thug Tells Metro Boomin 'ILY' Then Drops A New Song With Him

After exchanging shots on Twitter, the collaborators made up.

As far as strange, unexpected rap feuds go, the rift between Young Thug and Metro Boomin was towards the top of the list in recent memory. The two have a history of collaborations and even a full-length project in the works, but that didn't stop a digital throw-down this week.

But all that seems to be in the past now. On Thursday night, they put their issues to bed, when Metro tweeted that it was a "misunderstanding," and Thugger hit him back with an emoji and a much-needed and appreciated "ily."

They didn't stop there, though. They also dropped a new song, "Hercules."

Their bond may be back to being as strong as Hercules now, but Thug and Metro got into it over Twitter earlier his week, when the producer made comments about the pace at which artists drop mixtapes, and compared them -- without naming anyone -- to Future.

Thug -- who himself is extremely prolific -- took that as a slight, and responded accordingly.

Challenges of "pull up" followed, but thankfully, all that seems like it's been sorted out.

Whether this was staged for publicity or it was just some odd, short-lived tiff, it looks like Metro Thuggin rises again.
