We haven't seen much of Lorde in recent months, sadly, but it's time to celebrate because, well, she just reappeared in our lives with a sleek new 'do!

Last we saw of Lorde, she was in New York for Kanye West's New York Fashion Week show, with her trademark long curls and, mysteriously, a pink eye.

On Monday night (Nov. 2), though, she attended the 12th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards and gone were her curls, as was, like, four inches of hair! Now that her hair is lighter, she can do the ever-popular slicked back look, which would make Kim Kardashian very proud.

Lorde will make her debut on "Saturday Night Live" on November 14—will her new 'do come with?? Fingers crossed—it looks so good in photos that we're eager to see it in action.
