Young Thug And Rich Homie Quan Are Back At It

Sort of.

Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan may no longer be consistently making tracks as the collective Rich Gang, but fans did get a little something to chew on Wednesday night when a new collab between the Atlanta natives hit the 'net.

"Color Purple" is and ode to what very well may be Thugger and Quan's favorite color -- and all the things it stands for. "Drinkin' color purple, smokin' color purple," Rich Homie croons early on in the Metro Boomin-produced jam. There's no word on exactly where this song is from or why it ended up online when it did, so we might as well just enjoy it for what it is.

If people needed a reminder -- and there's a good chance you didn't -- the chemistry that the two rappers have on this track is precisely what made so many champion Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1, their mixtape that dropped late last year.

Earlier this year, though, things seemed to tense up between the two. In March, Thugger called out "Bitch Homie Quan" onstage; a few weeks later, Quan said that he was "hurt" and Thug was his "brother for life."

In the months since, each has dropped their own solo project and seem focused on individual endeavors. Hopefully, though, this means they'll be back together musically before long.
