Taylor Swift gifted her Swifties the ultimate present for the one year anniversary of 1989: an acoustic version of "Out Of The Woods."

Taylor performed this version on September 30 at the Clive Davis Theatre in Los Angeles, sharing a little of the song's (which was co-written by Jack Antonoff) backstory. She revealed it was inspired by a relationship that gave her lots of anxiety because it felt very "fragile" and "tentative." I'm sure no one has forgotten that the song is rumored to be inspired by her relationship with One Direction's Harry Styles.

"I think a lot of relationships can be very solid and that's what you hope for, solid and healthy, but that's not always what you get," she said. "And it doesn't mean that it's not special and extraordinary just to have a relationship that's fragile, and somehow meaningful in that fragility."
