Eminem Brought 'Mom's Spaghetti' Back For This Strange Basketball Commercial

An '8 Mile' classic.

Eminem will do just about anything for his hometown. And that includes starring in a strange, funny video for the Detroit Pistons.

Early Monday (Oct. 26), Marshall popped up as the latest celeb guest spot in the team's ongoing #LongestOop initiative, which started in the days leading up to the season, and will end when the squad has their opening game at home on Oct. 28.

What it is, essentially, is a ton of people participating in an (extremely extended) alley oop -- which, for you non hoop heads out there, is when one player passes the ball to another, who catches it in mid-air and dunks it.

Thanks to his participation, Em will be part of the assist.

Of course, being that he's Eminem -- and, as you'll see in some of these other clips, just given the nature of the initiative -- the video is both weird and zany. There's even an appearance from "mom's spaghetti" (remember "Lose Yourself," anyone?).

Slim isn't the only rapper to get involved. Another of the D's beloved MC offspring, Big Sean, also had a peculiar interaction with the ball.

The local news played a part.

Ken Jeong did what Ken Jeong does.

Even John Oliver threw a pass.

The Pistons will be bringing it home on Wednesday, and until then, you can catch up with everyone who's gotten involved.
