Last week, Adele announced her album release date, dropped a single that everyone freaked out about, and, generally, was all up in our lives, after being absent for so long.

Well, it looks like we can expect her to stick around longer—she just landed her first magazine cover in "forever."

The i-D cover is simple, but between the hair and envy-inducing cat eye, quintessentially Adele. There's also a glimpse of a furry jacket, a style she also wears in the video for "Hello"—is 25 era Adele ditching her retro glam style for something more modern (and warmer)?

We'll find out more when the full i-D spread and interview drops on Tuesday (Oct. 27). For now, though, we're content to gaze at her eyeliner and wonder how. Just...how.
