29 Demi Lovato Fans Who DGAF About School Because 'Confident' Is Here

The struggle through the school day is SO REAL RIGHT NOW.

Lovatics, the day we’ve been clamoring and hungering for is finally here: Demi Lovato’s crazily anticipated fifth album, Confident, has arrived!

(But of course you already knew that.)

The only problem? Demi fans all over the world had to stay up late Thursday night or wake up early Friday morning to hear it the very second it dropped, at midnight EST. Which kind of interferes with a certain tedious responsibility most of us are all too familiar with… yep, we’re talking to you, students of the world.

So how did fans balance their dedication to Demi and their educational duties? Well, because Lovatics are a fiercely loyal bunch, many of them simply flew all f—ks to the wind, sacrificing sleep, sanity and detention for the sake of celebrating Confident. And of course, they documented their stellar commitment to the cause on Twitter. Let’s take a look:

There were those Lovatics who simply declared Oct. 16 a national holiday.

And those who decided to play hooky and skip school because PRIORITIES.

Because going to class honestly just became out of the question for some.

But most fans still had to trek off to class. Parents can be so unreasonable sometimes, amirite?

Some squeezed in a quick listening sesh before heading off to class.

But a lot of fans had stayed up super late to hear it...

...so basically there are plenty of sleep-deprived Lovatics strugglin’ through the school day today.

Some rebellious risk takers chose to listen IN class (note: we do not endorse this, but hey, YOLO ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

It's understandably hard to concentrate knowing that Confident is out there in the world, in all its glory.

But you know what? Just because you can't dance to "Old Ways" ATM doesn’t mean you can’t multi-task and promote the album at the same time!

And most Demi devotees are just counting down the seconds until they can get back home to their headphones.

Hang in there, Lovatics — you have the entire weekend to hole up and soak in the album at length! Now if only you could memorize the periodic table of elements just as easily…
