Watch The Game-Changing First Four Minutes Of The 'Pretty Little Liars' Premiere

So THAT'S why the Liars return to Rosewood...

"Pretty Little Liars" dropped a huge surprise for fans at New York Comic Con: the first four minutes of the Season 6 midseason premiere!

It's been five years since the events of the midseason finale, and there's a new big bad in town, and his name isn't A. The game-changing episode kicks off with Alison, who's now a teacher at Rosewood High. She writes a letter to all the Liars asking them to return to Rosewood to testify at Charlotte's hearing. You can watch the first four minutes, first posted by BuzzFeed, below:

New hottie Doctor Rollins -- aka Ali's therapist -- enters Ali’s classroom to tell her that Charlotte's "hearing is in four days." Ali writes letters to the Liars asking them to speak to the court about Charlotte being released.

Clearly, Ali wants to get her sister out of, well, wherever she’s been for the last five years and she needs the Liars to help her do it. Seeing as Charlotte is the one who caused the Liars so much grief, we wonder how the Liars are going to feel about this letter. Then again, we do see Hanna on a plane, so maybe Ali's letter was super convincing after all.
