‘Agent Carter’ Has Cast Its Brand New Supervillain For Season 2

Who's excited? We're excited.

Next year, we'll be returning to a time before S.H.I.E.L.D. when the second season of "Marvel's Agent Carter" premieres on ABC. But instead of New York, it will take place in Los Angeles -- and, as revealed at the Agents of Primetime panel at New York Comic Con, we finally know who'll be playing some new characters we've always wanted to see come to life.

Dubsmash queen Hayley Atwell, James D'Arcy, Dominic Cooper, Bridget Regan, Enver Gjokaj (whose character has officially gotten a promotion to Chief!) and Chad Michael Murray will officially be joined by the following newcomers: Reggie Austin as Dr. Jason Wilkes, Currie Graham as Calvin Chadwick, Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost and Lotte Verbeek as Ana Jarvis.

So in addition to finally getting to meet Jarvis' wife after a whole season of only ever hearing about her, we're also getting a brand new villain straight from the comics: Madame Masque, a nefarious socialite from the "Iron Man" franchise. Seems exactly like the sort of woman who could get Howard Stark in some serious trouble.

Atwell and Jarvis couldn't be at the panel that night due to filming schedules, but the audience at New York Comic Con was also treated to the first-ever clip from the new season, which featured the loyal butler showing Peggy all the different features that come with Howard Stark's favorite car -- all of which are more conducive to seducing women rather than doing any cool secret agent-ing. No lie, at one point Carter's set gets flung back into a bed shape and she says, "Is that a mirror?" while looking up at the ceiling of the car. Stark, you horndog.

"Agent Carter" returns to ABC in early 2016.
