It's back! MTV's second annual Homecoming is here, and you get to decide once again who is the king and queen.

Sixty of the biggest female and male stars in pop culture will battle it out for the crown, and it's up to you to decide who rules the school.

Demi Lovato and Tyler Oakley are both in the running to defend their titles, but have some pretty stiff competition as Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence, Justin Bieber and One Direction all look to steal their crowns.

So how does it work? Well, we are ditching the bracket style we used last year, and instead, we are making it pretty simple, all you have to do is swipe right for your faves. Yep, it's just that easy.

You can vote as many times as you want, but keep in mind, this is a ranking system, so when you swipe right, it increases a person's rank, and when you swipe left, it diminishes it.

The first round of voting begins today and ends on Thursday, Oct. 15 at noon EST, when 30 Queens and 30 Kings are cut down to 20 each. The second round wraps up Monday Oct. 19, and the third round, which cuts the list down to 10 each, wraps up Wednesday Oct. 21. We will announce the winner right after voting closes.
