Rihanna's New Album Title And Cover Art Are Here -- But What Do They Mean?

Rih teams up with Roy Nachum for her 'favorite' cover yet.

After months -- years, really -- of waiting to find out anything concrete about the release of Rihanna's upcoming #R8 album, we finally have some huge info: It's called Anti.

The wait for its actual release is still on, and when that will actually be is still unclear, but on Wednesday night, RiRi revealed the title and art for her upcoming eighth solo album.

Here's the front:

And the back:

According to Billboard, at a private viewing at Los Angeles' Mama Gallery, Rih was with Roy Nachum, the artist who designed the cover, to debut the Anti art.

"This is my favorite album cover I've ever done," Rih said during the event.

The cover reportedly features a braille poem by Chloe Mitchell (whom Kanye West quotes on 2010's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) and a crown covering young Rihanna's eyes because, according to Rih, "Sometimes the ones who have sight are the blindest."

As for the meaning of the title? She posted a Rihanna-filled definition on Instagram.

In another Instagram post, she said the new album is "coming soon." What's that mean, exactly? Who knows. But we're ready when you are, Rih.
