"The Shannara Chronicles" is inching closer and closer to its highly anticipated January debut -- but before Terry Brooks' beloved novels come to life on the small screen, we can unveil new portraits of four integral characters from the Four Lands. An added bonus: If you happen to be attending New York Comic Con this Friday (tomorrow!), series stars Poppy Drayton, Ivana Baquero and Manu Bennett plus Brooks himself will be on hand to autograph these majestic photographs at the Random House booth (number 2204) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. So come and visit and get your own personalized copy.

Wil Ohmsford (portrayed by Austin Butler)

Half-human, half-elf, Wil has spent his life hiding his telltale, half-tip ears. But when he learns that he's the last of the Shannara lineage and possesses a mysterious magic, he must overcome all his fears, embrace his destiny and save the Four Lands from a horrific evil.

Amberle Elessedil (portrayed by Poppy Drayton)

Wise beyond her years, Elvin Princess Amberle has grown tired of her sheltered life within the palace walls of Arborlon. But after causing a stir by running the Gauntlet and becoming a member of the Chosen, her life is turned upside down when the Ellcrys shows her nightmarish visions of the future and tasks her with an epic quest to save her people.

Allanon (portrayed by Manu Bennett)

He's the last of the magic-wielding Druids, standing guard of the Four Lands for centuries. But when the Ellcrys begins to die, releasing the terrifying Dagda Mor and his Demon army, Allanon is tasked with putting together an alliance of unlikely heroes to stop them.

Eretria (portrayed by Ivana Baquero)

Raised on the wrong side of the tracks in a clan of Human Rovers, Eretria has been forced to rely on her beauty, wit and ruthlessness to survive. However, when she meets Wil and Amberle, she discovers a selflessness she’s never known and must decide whether to profit from them or join their impossible quest.
