30 Days, 30 Unbelievable Experiences -- Watch 4 Guys Conquer The Ultimate Bucket List
This past summer, four strangers -- Thomas, Matt, Ammar and Derin -- brought their bucket list dreams to life on their YouTube channel, Generation Y Not. The group decided to try 30 new things in 30 days, and they made a video every day for a month documenting their progress.
On Monday, Oct. 5, the boys, who worked part-time and shared a one-bedroom apartment to fund their project, released a video summarizing their July adventure. They experienced a lot of new things, including but not limited to:
— getting waxes
— eating foods like scorpions and super-spicy ghost peppers
— jumping off a bridge (don't try this one at home...)
— giving out roses to passersby on the street
— being on the "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah"
"It wasn't that I was lazy, entitled, or apathetic," Thomas, a recent grad, says in the vid below about his decision to pursue this 30-day challenge instead of looking for a full-time career. "It's that times have changed and society had given me a path that I felt was outdated."
