This Is The Dream Team Behind Selena Gomez's Style 'Revival'

As Selenators across the globe know, Selena Gomez's new album, Revival, comes out on Friday, October 9. It's been over two years since Selena's debut album, Stars Dance, was released, and well, a lot has changed since then.

Most noticeably is her style, especially as of late—it is totally on point at, like, all times—a feat that is not easy to pull off, especially when you're making appearance after appearance to promote your album.

Whether she's cramming four outfits into a single morning or wearing pajamas as real clothes—#HERO—her new aesthetic is equal parts glam, sleek, and perfectly understated.

The change is, perhaps, reflected best on all of the visual elements we've seen for Revival and its singles. The single art for "Good For You," for example, is completely stripped down and effortless—she's in a t-shirt, her hair is wet, and you can imagine this is how she relaxes at home.

The cover art for Revival is even more stripped down—literally. While Selena revealed that she is wearing high-waisted shorts, the overall look is very bare—her hair is wavy, but doesn't appear too done, and her makeup is minimal.

The new look is a noted departure from the sometimes fussy, almost overly glam vibe she had a few years ago—while you can imagine getting into that lace dress was a ~process~, nothing about her current style gives that impression.

Sure, it makes sense that her style would evolve as she, y'know, grew up and her taste changed, it also happens to go perfectly with the theme of her album—much like her music and overall attitude, her style is benefitting from a revival.

Of course, Selena didn't just decide to shift her look and suddenly mix it up—she benefits from the help of experts, namely, stylists Kate Young and Christian Classen, makeup artist Jake Bailey, and hair stylist Lona Vigi.

Kate Young is the woman behind Selena's sleek new style. From red carpets to fashion shows to press tours, Kate is who we can thank—or curse, up to you—for outfitting Selena in looks we want for ourselves ASAP. Kate also styles Michelle Williams and Natalie Portman, who, we can all agree, consistently look stunning.

Jake Bailey is who we can thank for Selena's subtle, yet somehow still smoldering, makeup. Between the fresh skin, lightly smoky eye, and nude or red lip, Selena always looks put together without looking made up. If Selena's fluttering lashes seem familiar, that's because Jake also works with Katy Perry, and is, obviously, a genius at making eyes pop.

Hair stylist Lona Vigi is who we should bow down to for Selena's hair. From perfectly undone waves to ponytails, Lona has given Selena's gorgeous hair a life of its own, essentially. There's a reason she became the face—and hair—of Pantene this year.

With Revival's release, we're going to be seeing a lot more of Selena, which we couldn't be more excited about, especially with this glam squad backing her. We never want the press tour to end. We have a feeling, though, that she will continue to nail it wherever she goes, long after the tour is over.
