Ta'Rhonda Jones is always entertaining as Porsha on the smash-hit "Empire," but who knew the actress is also an amazing rapper? Apparently, the trifecta of "Girl Code Live."

Jones took the chance to highlight her musical prowess when hosts Nessa, Carly and Awkwafina challenged her to a game called "Freestyles For All Occasions" during last night's "GCL" episode. The girls described a random situation, and Jones had to respond with a fresh set of rhymes to match the setting. Could the thespian keep up?

"The first situation is: You find out that your best friend hooked up with your ex," threw out Carly. The talented Jones rose to the occasion, but we obviously can't do it justice here. Check out her killer skills in the clip below:
