Tyler Thomas Returns With 'Birds I View' EP

The L.A. rapper has some gems in store for you.

You might remember Tyler Thomas from his catchy 2012 track "Whiskey on the Rocks." The Los Angeles rapper has the kind of distinctive voice that gets stuck in your head on first spin, and his new EP Birds I View provides plenty of earworm material.

The new 9-track project follows his previous release, 2013's Higher Learning, and includes production from The Stereotypes on songs like "Make Me Go" and "Way Too Gone."

“When my last project came out a couple years ago, it was a big moment at the time,” he told XXL. "I had a song on there with Logic that Vic Mensa hopped on later, which a lot of people heard. But that moment is important for me now, because that project taught me how much further I had to go. I’ve raised the bar so much on every aspect of Birds I View -- the writing, production, the visuals."
