twenty one pilots Lead Army Of Fist-Pumping Spring Breakers At MTV Movie Awards
Watch twenty one pilots' explosive MTV Movie Awards set!
Oh my god, did you catch twenty one pilots' stirring performance of "Car Radio" at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards tonight? The raw vocals! The ski masks! The fist-pumping crowd! To quote the eternally fave-status Notorious B.I.G., if you don't know, now you KNOW.
Opening all low-key, lead singer Tyler Joseph's brutal, spitfire delivery coupled with Josh Dun's drumming had the crowd in total silence. Like, you actually could've heard a pin drop -- though, thank God nobody did, because #RUDE.
When we took our eyes off the guys long enough to notice that the audience members were all wearing the "Mad World" performers' signature ski masks, our jaws just went "BYE!" and dropped straight to the floor.
Then, when the MTV Artist To Watch alums got the crowd jumping and fist-pumping in unison? ELECTRIFYING. It was basically how "Spring Breakers" would've ended if it were a big budget musical, not to mention a big ol' PSA for PUTTING DOWN YOU F***ING PHONE and just enjoying the performance. This is your brain on flawlessness. Enjoy.
