Here's Johnny Weir serving us a perfect "Poker Face" at the 2010 U.S. Nationals.
Like everyone else, we've got the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics on our minds. But, we'd be lying if we said that the figure skating doesn't make us all kinds of nostalgic for the 2010 U.S. Nationals when Johnny Weir STOLE ALL THE AMAZE FROM OUR SOULS with his exhibition routine to Lady Gaga's "Poker Face!"
If you're like us, you've saved his masterpiece of a performance in your memory bank FOREVER. However, just in case you don't recall, we'll explain the epic routine in one simple equation: FEROSH makeup + FIERCE footwork = puh-puh-puh-perfection puh-puh-perfection.
Unfortunately, only the top-five men's figure skaters were allowed to perform their exhibition routines at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics following the medals ceremony. Since Johnny placed sixth, we never got to witness him totally nail the Mother Monster-inspired choreography before the world's eyes.
Oh, the tragedy OF IT ALL! WHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYY?!?!?!?! WHYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?!
Anyway, even though Johnny's not skating in the Olympics this year because he retired, at least we're able to soak in his ferocity thanks to that sharp-as-a-toe-pick commentary he's been offering. Oh, and his fashion statements.
