Odd Future Dances To Rebecca Black's 'Friday,' Internet Explodes

It's been an eventful few days for Odd Future ringleader and MTV PUSH Artist of the Week Tyler, the Creator. First he was detained by the police for "causing a public disturbance" in LA, and then he was scolded by the press for almost causing a riot in Boston. It's no wonder, then, that Tyler and his crew would want to celebrate the approach of the weekend by taking some time out from being every parent's worst nightmare to unwind a little bit to the sweet, viral sounds of Rebecca Black's "Friday."

That's right, the Internet's scariest rappers and its most adorable 13-year-old girl, together at last. We thought the space time continuum might buckle under the weight of this absurdity, but it held firm. Note the vigor with which the audience moshes and crowd surfs, even as Black's voice sings about getting ready for school and how hard it is to decide between kickin' in the front seat and kickin' in the back seat. It just goes to show that, 1.) Odd Future can whip a crowd into a frenzy just by existing onstage, 2.) even freaky horror-core rappers like to get down on Friday, and 3.) all Internet memes are, as we suspected, secretly friends.
