Watch A Sneak Peek Of Lykke Li's 'MTV Unplugged' Performance

We're certainly not shy about our love of Scandinavian pop here at Buzzworthy. So when we heard that Swedish pop singer Lykke Li would be starring in her own MTV "Unplugged" show, we immediately yelled "Respektingivande" ("awesome" for you non-Swedish speakers out there).

Lykke Li recently released her highly acclaimed second studio album, Wounded Rhymes, featuring the singles "Get Some" and "I Follow Rivers." But we first discovered her in 2008, when her electro-pop debut, Youth Dreams, produced by Peter, Bjorn and John's Bjorn Yttling, made its way stateside. We immediately loved the album, and when we heard her drop hip-hop covers like A Tribe Called Quest's "Can I Kick It?" into her live set, that love quickly became obsession. In 2009, her song "Possibility" was featured on the The Twilight Saga: New Moon Soundtrack, making it official that Lykke Li's capable of everything from covering Q-Tip to providing a letter-perfect backdrop to a depressed Bella Swan.

And speaking of "Possibility," we've got a sneak peek of Lykke Li performing the song live during her MTV "Unplugged" set.

While Lykke Li mainly showcased her own songs, she also performed "The Contradictions Track" -- "Velvet" by The Big Pink -- a departure from her usual musical offerings, presented by Starburst.

Watch Lykke Li's "Possibility" from her MTV "Unplugged" performance, and don't miss the premiere of Lykke Li's MTV "Unplugged" performance Thursday, April 7, at 9 p.m. ET to see her perform "I Follow Rivers," "Dance Dance Dance," "Sadness Is A Blessing," "I Know Places," "Jerome" and The Big Pink's "Velvet."
