Another one of Demi Lovato's favorite buddies has fallen.

All summer, Demi's been asking for prayers for her "Papa" who was "not doing so well" at last update, and now she has announced that her great-grandfather has unfortunately passed away.

"My two favorite Buddy's are now playing in Heaven," she wrote on Instagram Monday (Sept. 28). "My heart is absolutely broken and I can't even begin to imagine a world without my Papa but I know one day we'll meet again and that's what keeps me going. I hate writing this... But RIP Papa... I miss you so much already. I love you. Please keep my Mimaw in your prayers ??"

In July, the "Cool for the Summer" singer also said goodbye to her beloved puppy, Buddy, when he was reportedly attacked by a coyote at her Los Angeles home.

Demi's great-grandfather, 88, is survived by Demi's great-grandmother "Mimaw," 93. The two were married for 50 years, and Demi celebrated their "precious" romance often on social media.
