Put out the welcome mat: A brand-new cast member is joining "Finding Carter," and his name is Jackson Rathbone.

Sound familiar? It should.

"You might remember me from the 'Twilight' series where I played Jasper -- the really scary, weird blond one," the actor says in the clip below.

Don't be modest, Jackson -- of course we remember you.

For his turn in the "FC" spotlight, the handsome 30-year-old will play Jared, a bar owner who hires Carter as a waitress. And according to Jackson, the character is unlike anyone else we've seen on the hit series.

"[He's] a little bit more of a rugged dude that hasn't really been introduced to the show yet," says the former rocker and budding photographer (seriously, check out his Instagram).

And while Jackson doesn't talk about his character's love life in the clip, a little bird did tell us that Jared might just begin a romantic relationship with none other than Carter.

Four words for you: Crash is gonna FREAK.
