This Dad Perfectly Roasted Common Core Math With One Hilarious Check

OOO that's funny.

Common Core Math is now standard curriculum in more than 40 states -- and parents across the country are less than thrilled about it. The unconventional method of teaching math eliminates tricks like the "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" order of operations, and asks students to express their understanding of mathematical principles in ways that many parents say make math unnecessarily confusing. In fact, Common Core backlash has become so widespread that last spring, comedian Louis CK even famously tweeted that the method was "making his daughters cry."

Recently, another frustrated father took a jab at the method when he wrote a check to his child's school using Common Core notation, and thus made an accurate and valid point: If the symbols on the check are nonsensical to bank employees, should we really be using them to teach kids math? Take a look his hilarious check below.
