With more than a month left until the Oct. 26 premiere of the new show "Supergirl," CBS is slowly sharing more information with anxious fans. On Sept. 1, the network announced on its website Iddo Goldberg was cast as Red Tornado, "the world's most nefarious android who is capable of devastating National City." According to the announcement, Goldberg will be a guest star on the DC superhero show, not a main character.

Recently, CBS released a first look at the "Supergirl" version of Red Tornado.

Goldberg, who's known as Isaac Walton on "Salem," is set to "guest star as both the android and his mad scientist creator [Professor T.O. Morrow] in an upcoming episode," according to Entertainment Weekly. In the DC comics, one of Red Tornado's main powers is creating strong whirlwinds. He's also a member of the Justice League.
