Before the Republicans argued at the GOP debate last night, people on the Internet were debating whether the rumors about Miley Cyrus and Dane Cook were true. Are they really dating?

E! News went straight to the source on Wednesday, asking the 43-year-old comedian if he and the 22-year-old pop star were an item.

"I'm always the last to know these things," Cook joked.

Hey -- that's not a denial. Just saying.

"Just let Miley know that I'll pick her up for dinner at 8," he added

Miley, Dane will pick you up for dinner at 8.

Miley has been open about her sexuality in the past, telling Paper mag that she's down for anything.

“I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age,” she told Paper. “Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me."

She also told Elle U.K. that she's not holding down anything serious.

"I'm pansexual. But I'm not in a relationship," she told Elle U.K. for its October issue. "I'm 22, I'm going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I'm with."

As for Dane Cook's sexuality? All we know is that he told Andy Cohen that he had lots of sex with fans: "In my younger days I would say...a few hundred," he said in 2014.
