Some very brave BuzzFeed dudes learned this lesson the hard way after they handed their razors over to their significant others -- and things got ugly. The girls tried their best to get a smooth, close shave but were surprised at just how much skill and effort it takes. Turns out maneuvering around an ankle bone is wayyy easier and less scary than shaving necks.

"I'm so sorry, your Adam's apple is bleeding," Taylor apologized mid-shave.

"YOU CUT ME!" her boyfriend, Mike, responded.
