Here's Your Essential Back-To-School Playlist

I can't feel my face when I'm at school.

Back-to-school season is well underway, and while you're busy trying to keep the scuffs off your new kicks, your notebooks pristine and your teachers on your side, you're going to need some music to keep you going.

There are plenty of new songs that'll help you get into the swing of things and give you confidence no matter what. Here are the back-to-school essentials you'll need in September:

Nick Jonas -- 'Levels'

When you find your clique, blast this through the hallways. Choreography highly recommended, but not mandatory, because no one wants detention.

OMI -- 'Cheerleader'

Whether you're trying out for the cheerleading squad or just need someone to support you, OMI will be right there when you need him. OMI's "Cheerleader" was officially the song of the summer, but that doesn't mean you can't bring it into autumn, right?

Selena Gomez -- 'Same Old Love'

Listen, this year is all about starting anew, so why keep around people that are dragging you down? Selena's new song is all about shedding the old and starting fresh. Maybe we should take a cue from her.

'Why You Always Lyin''

You know the viral Vine, but it's about time you memorize this entire song to impress your friends.

Drake - 'Hotline Bling'

You're supposed to keep your phones in your locker during the day, but this is an honest place, so we can just be real with each other. Let Drake's "Hotline Bling" be your anthem for that friend who doesn't text you back mid-study hall.

The Weeknd -- 'Can't Feel My Face'

This will be the JAM at homecoming -- don't say I didn't tell you.

Rachel Platten -- 'Fight Song'

Honestly, pop this in your headphones on the way to school, and you'll be amped up for the rest of the day... or at least until second period.

One Direction -- 'Drag Me Down'

Mood booster alert! So you had a bad day at school? Nobody can drag you down...

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis -- 'Downtown'

Sure, it's a weird one, but it'll give you inspo to save up your money so you can roll up to school with your brand-new moped.

Justin Bieber -- 'What Do You Mean?'

The clock ticking in this song resembles the feeling you get at the end of the school day, when you're counting down the minutes until you can hop on the bus home.
