The day finally came for Madeline Stuart, a model from Australia with Down Syndrome, to make her runway debut -- and at New York Fashion Week no less.

While Madeline's been keeping busy for the past few months with clothing campaigns back home in Australia, she's now achieved what many models her age are still striving for. She walked down the runway Sunday (Sept. 14) for FTL Moda, whose runway has welcomed models with disabilities in the past.

Madeline had her face painted and wore a long white dress and heels, and walked effortlessly during the show -- but that wasn't her only look. She also wore a multicolor halter top and shorts, and walked down the runway with her fellow models. If this is what she accomplishes in just a few short months, we really can't imagine where the next year will take her -- but we'll definitely be watching.
