Demi Lovato wasn't kidding. She really does love mugs.

Over the weekend, Demi was asked by German Radio Station NJR what her favorite dish was. Instead of giving the answer of her favorite meal, Demi decided to have a little fun with the question, saying that her favorite dish was a mug -- “I like mugs because they’re very comfortable in your hand and they hold the hot things that you don’t have to touch -- so, um, you know, coffee or hot tea.”

Some took the comment seriously, which caused Demi to take to Twitter saying people clearly don't understand her humor.

Demi decided to silence the haters once more and bring some humor to the situation when she posted this picture, or her "mugshot," as she likes to call it.

Demi is seen draped in her favorite dinnerware as she holds the mugs, balances them under her chin and has them sitting in her lap. "#mugshot #coolforthesummer #confidentoctober16 #ilovemugs," she captioned the pic.

Personally, I've experienced Demi's fun sense of humor when she stopped by "Live From MTV" in 2013, and we asked her to draw some of her song titles from Demi, which ended with some inappropriate drawings.

So knowing Demi's history, I'd have to say she was clearly joking about her favorite dish, and it was hysterical.
