Did DMX's Son Sell His Dad's Platinum Plaque On eBay?
DMX’s son, Xavier Simmons, has reportedly sold one of his father's platinum certification plaques.
TMZ is reporting that the rapper’s son sold an RIAA commemoration plaque X was given for 4 million copies each of …And Then There Was X and It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot.
The plaque also shows that he earned it for more than 3 million copies of Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood. It reportedly sold on eBay for $3,000.
The report says DMX, who is in jail for unpaid child support, is upset about the sale. He reportedly told TMZ that the plaque was his and that he feels his son is ungrateful.
This wouldn’t be the first time X and his son have been at odds publicly. Back in 2013, the rapper and his son appeared on "Iyanla Fix My Life," an appearance D was not pleased with.
