Someone Catapulted A Flaming Piano Into The Air At Burning Man And It Was Caught On Video

Hopefully someone played 'Great Balls of Fire' on it beforehand.

Burning Man: the festival that combines a feeling of absolute freedom with art and music -- and what better way to illustrate this concept than launching a flaming piano high into the air?

Over the weekend, some liberty-minded folks at Burning Man in Black Rock, Nev. thought it would be a great idea to set a standing piano aflame and launch it with a catapult.

The resulting smoking musical comet crashed to the ground and exploded into a million pieces -- to cheers from an audience that seem pretty OK with wood shrapnel possibly flying towards them. (We kid, we kid. No one was hurt. The only thing anyone was hit with was good vibes.)
