"Furious 7," the latest addition to the "Fast and Furious" franchise, was a celebration of the families we create... And brilliant hacker Ramsey, played by Nathalie Emmanuel, ends up becoming the newest addition to the "Fast" family.

But that doesn't mean there weren't bumps in the road for her character along the way. In this exclusive deleted scene from the movie, out on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand September 15, Ramsey tries to make a quick exit before being caught by Dom (Vin Diesel). The two have a tense conversation, a scene that Emmanuel told MTV News was a part of her audition for the movie.

"She says she doesn’t really play well with others, she’s a bit of a loner, she doesn’t need family, or this family," Emmanuel, who spoke to MTV while promoting "The Scorch Trials," said. "She’s a little bit on her high horse, to be honest. Dom puts her in her place a little bit, a ‘who said anything about joining our team?’ kind of thing. The other thing I loved about [the] scene is that she sticks up for herself. Dom is the head of this family, and she tells him about himself a little bit -- and she’s absolutely right, as well."

Emmanuel, for her part, said she didn't know if she'll be back for "Fast 8," but would love to break bread with the Fast Fam again anytime.

"I really hope that that happens," Emmanuel continued. "We’ll see. It’s so crazy for me personally, because everyone involved, I’m just tremendous fans of all of them. So to work with them for all that time is just so amazing, and they were just the loveliest people as well, so that really helped, and was really exciting.

"They really welcomed me. I think it’s clear that they have that family off-set too, so again, I’ve been really really lucky in having people that just embrace me. They were like, ‘You’re one of us.’ It was awesome."
