Less than a month after Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy stunned the world with the news that they'd terminated their relationship, Kermit is back on the horn again -- this time to quash the rumors that he's been catting frogging around with another porker.

In the wake of the breakup, it was widely reported that Kermit was already seriously involved with a marketing executive named Denise (who, uh, just so happens to look an awful lot like a younger, slimmer version of the pig he just kicked to the curb. Awkward and distasteful!)

But in a statement on Twitter, Mr. The Frog clarified that he and Denise are just good friends.

Kudos to Kermit for nailing the exhausted, slighty-aggrieved tone of the newly single celeb who just wants his privacy right out of the gate. It's perfect!
