As our weak hearts are well aware -- Justin Bieber is performing at the 2015 MTV Video Awards, and we've only begun to visualize what his glorious rendition of "What Do You Mean?" will be like come Sunday night. Justin isn't dropping any hints online (or to us), so we only have our imaginations to work with.

He plays 'What Do You Mean?'

OK, so we already know this is happening. Bieber announced on Wednesday that he's playing his new song (out Friday). So, yeah, already losing my ish.

He pulls an old-school hair flip.

I hope Bieber takes us on a trip back to yesteryear, paying homage to his signature floppy hair with a little flip. You know the move.

He announces his comeback.

Justin has been using the hashtag #BieberIsBack for quite some time. And, in my heart of hearts, this performance will solidify just that: Bieber is back, and he's ready to take over.

He brings out his celebrity pals.

In VMAs past, Bieber has walked the carpet with Usher, given a smooch to Selena Gomez and rubbed elbows with Diddy. Who will he canoodle with this year? I'm hoping he brings along friends Skrillex or Hailey Baldwin.

He introduces us to a new viral dance.

I hope there's a special move specific to "What Do You Mean?" I'm ready for something other than the whip and the nae nae.

He brings back Johnson.

Remember Johnson the Snake, Justin's date to the 2011 VMAs? Let's keep him at home this year, or I'll probably pee from terror.

If anything, maybe he'll bring his puppy, Esther, whom has been taking to interviews.

He pours out his soul.

Bieber's upcoming album is supposed to be extremely personal and confessional. I'm hoping he has an emotional moment onstage that connects with fans.

He invites Taylor Swift to dance.

Even though Taylor and Justin haven't had the smoothest history -- due to his on-and-off dating saga with Taylor BFF Selena Gomez -- recently, Justin has been wanting to make nice. Perhaps this tweet back in June was a clue? Plus, they are sitting sort of close to each other during the show.

He teases visuals from his music video.

I know, I know -- I'm asking for a lot here. I should just be grateful that he's performing, but wouldn't it be cool if he slipped in some graphics to his upcoming music video for "What Do You Mean?"

He goes overboard with his suit.

Bieber may have made some questionable fashion decisions in his life, but he's been known to take risks. I'm not saying he has to repeat his Balmain and cummerbund look from his first Met Gala, but I have the style bar set pretty high for his first VMA red carpet in four years.

He leaves us mind-boggled.

Bieber has a lot to live up to. Since this performance is labeled as his comeback, I'm thinking there should be some perfect choreography, explosive lighting and maybe some fireworks? Hey, a girl can dream.
