While the world waits to see Michael Fassbender reemerge as Magneto in "X-Men: Apocalypse" and as the titular innovative Apple inventor in "Steve Jobs," there's no more waiting to see what the man will look like when he gets his Shakespeare on.
Empire has premiered a new poster for "Macbeth," starring Fassbender as the Scottish soldier who corrupts and kills his way to the top of the throne, his actions born from the prophecy of three witches. The Justin Kurzel adaptation looks to be one of the fiercest takes on the William Shakespeare play to date, as you can see for yourself:
Yeah, that is a Fassbender you do not want to mess with.
"Macbeth," co-starring Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth and "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" villain Sean Harris as Macduff, had its world premiere at Cannes earlier this year, and will arrive in the UK on October 2. No word just yet on an American release.
