In 31 years, the VMAs have given us a ton of memorable performances. From Britney Spears dancing with a snake to Madonna's performance in a wedding dress to Miley Cyrus' twerk out with your tongue out, each one has been distinct and jaw-dropping.

There's no doubt we will be adding some new performances to our "best" list at the 2015 VMAs with Justin Bieber, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj and so many others set to hit the stage.

But for right now, we want you to concentrate on the past and help us possibly pick a favorite VMA performance of all time.
