It all began with six extremely talented all-star "America's Best Dance Crew" teams, vying for a special place in "ABDC" history. And after five weeks of competition -- complete with innovative and unforgettable VMA-inspired performances judged by T-Pain, Teyana Taylor and Frankie Grande -- we are down to the finals. After saying goodbye to We Are Heroes, Elektrolytes and i.aM.mE (in that very order), tonight's action-packed episode showcased the three troupes -- Season 2 champs Super Cr3w, Season 3 victors Quest Crew and new contenders Kinjaz featuring members from Jabbawockeez (Season 1 victors) and Kaba Modern (season 1 contenders) -- vying for the top two places.
So who will be facing off in the season finale this Saturday?
"We have seen you all season, and you all have shown not only the three of us but all of America that you are incredible, that you are all already champions," Frankie told the groups as well as host Jason Dundas. "This was an extremely difficult decision -- we did not come to this decision easily -- so we have made the executive decision to send all three of you to the finale."
A tremendous and exciting last-minute curve ball -- which was met with a lot of cheers and enthusiasm from the crews, of course.
So now the power shifts from the judges -- to YOU! America, it's time to cast your vote for who you think deserves the special crown and being named all-star champion. Should the No. 1 finishers be the b-boys (aka Super Cr3w) with their high-flying, masterful tricks? Or should the finessed and silky smooth Kinjaz walk away with the achievement? And what about the artistic acrobats Quest Crew with a penchant for nailing those flips -- do they deserve all of the glory?
