First dates can be all kinds of awkward for everyone involved. Between the build-up of anticipation and the ~pressure~ of meeting someone new, sometimes, getting ready for the big night is often wayyy more fun than the date itself.

On Tuesday, August 25, Cosmo.com put their own spin on the pre-date ritual by asking little girls to help women get ready for a first date. The kids dab on lipstick, eyeshadow and eyeliner and dole out wise dating advice based on their, like, five years of experience on this planet.

"I think you should say 'I love you,'" Lulu, 5, recommends.

"Should I Google him before our date?" one woman asks. "I think that's ridiculous," Judith, 6, responds.
