This Kid Punched A Hole In A $1.5 Million Painting And He Wasn't Even Mad

We all experience art differently.

It's hard to be a kid in a museum. You can't talk loudly and you definitely can't touch anything. One boy in Taipei, Taiwan was reminded of that on Sunday, August 23, after an unfortunate case of the clumsies.

Focus Taiwan reported that the 12-year-old, who was part of a tour group seeing "The Face of Leonardo, Images of a Genius" exhibition, tripped into a very expensive piece of art. He broke his fall with his fist and a Paolo Porpora Baroque painting titled "Flowers," valued at $1.5 million.

While that sounds like a pricey trip to Huashan Creative Park (where the incident took place), the museum will not be pursuing damages. Fortunately, the painting's restoration costs will be covered by insurance.

Unfortunately, surveillance cameras captured the faux pas for us to watch over and over again in the clip below. Hey kid, you win some, you lose some.
